On May 22, 2008 Richard Bachynsky was nominated as the Green Party of Canada Candidate for the district of Essex Ontario, for the upcomming Federal Election. The riding of Essex will become an official electoral district association of the Green Party of Canada as of resolutions and meeting held on the evening of May 22, 2008 in Amherstburg, Ontario.
